{6.12.10} Columbus, WI Wedding Photographer: Laura + Daniel

Laura + Daniel were married this past Saturday in Columbus, WI at Zion Lutheran Church. The bride made all of the bouquets herself - didn't she do a wonderful job? After the ceremony, the wedding party headed to Fireman's Park in Columbus, WI for portraits. The reception site was also here as well - in the Pavilion. They did an amazing job decorating the hall. LOVED all the lanterns. Congratulations on your marriage, Laura + Dan! May you always be as happy as you were on this day.

Let's start with some portraits of the happy couple:

LOVED the dugout idea:

Such a pretty dress. Look at all that beading...
I must say, these are gorgeous as well...
Some pretty details...

I still can't believe she made the blooms herself...
Time to say I DO!
Just married!
Some fun photos of the wedding party at the church...
Don't these guys look SHARP!?

The couple had a tractor pulling a wagon to transport their wedding party from the church to the reception site and also to a bar or two ... only in a small town can you do the transportation this way! How fun!
Such a simple, yet stunning cake....

Loved the windows at the reception hall...
Ahh, I loved these lights and lanterns ... they really prettied up the reception....
Time for cake! Okay, and a kiss!
I've said it before, but it's so true .... first dances are always so sweet!
Parent dances are also sweet...
Now that's action! Can you find the bouquet?
The groomsmen + other friends of the couple really played up the "balls and chains" statement that's sometimes associated with weddings ...
Such a special moment for both the bride and Dad...
Laura + Dan's wedding party knew HOW to party! Woo hoo!

{5.22.10} Beaver Dam, WI Wedding Photographer: Corrin + Chuck

Corrin and Charles were married on a gorgeous, sunny day in the town of Manchester, WI. We later headed to Beaver Dam to Swan City Park for their portraits. Their reception + dance were held at the Beaver Dam Country Club.

Onto the photos!

Getting all ready ...

A little help from her sister...

The ladies' bouquets were stunning!

I absolutely loved this quaint church in the tiny town of Manchester... such beautiful lighting!

This is one of my favorite ceremony shots ever ... the happiness of the first kiss, with the cheering and clapping of the guests and wedding party....pure joy!

Some more portraits of the Mr. and Mrs. Ah, this light is perfection:
New rings!

Some fun wedding party photos:

Pretty details from the reception. I believe the bride's grandmother made the cake ... it's so pretty!
A smashin' good time .... ;-)

Their dance was so much fun. I love when the bride and groom, besides the 1st dance, get out on the dance floor and have a great time!

Thank you for allowing me to capture your day!

{5.8.10} Columbus, WI Wedding Photographer: Christine & Bill

Christine and Bill's wedding was held in Burnett, WI with the reception in Columbus, WI. We stopped off at Swan City Park in Beaver Dam, WI in between for their portraits. It was a gorgeous day all around! I'll let the photos speak for themselves!

I had fun playing around with fun shots of Christine's lovely dress:

Pretty. Simple. Forever Rings.

I love playing around with the bride's accessories at every wedding too!

The bride's choice of florals was stunning ... very pretty for a spring wedding!
I love, love, LOVED Christine's fabulous shoes and giant Swarovski crystal ...

More of her lovely dress ...

Getting all ready to go ...

Yes, Christine, you looked absolutely beautiful!
A little more primping...

I ask every couple to mail me a set of their invites + other invite goodies before the wedding so I can photograph that detail ... all that hard work should be captured and part of their wedding gallery!

The first kiss is always so special...

Married! Woooo hoooo!

A couple of relaxed portraits with the wedding party ....

Then onto my favorite part of my job ... the bride + groom's portraits! These kind of pictures is what I'm passionate about!

Reception time! The reception was held at the Cardinal Ale Bowl House in the reception room in Columbus, WI.

The pretty pink details carry on into the reception ... look at stunning white chocolate shavings cake...

The couple had a rock star theme to their reception. They even had this awesome guitar that guests could sign. The couple plans to hang it in their home. How cool! Christine and Bill peek out of the PhotoBooth they rented ... I really wish I would have had one of those at my own wedding!

More fun with the PhotoBooth!

This is always a "sweet" moment at every wedding ....

So is the first dance ...
